The Detroit Lions have had a rather forgettable season this time around. After a number of losses, the Lions came agonizingly close to breaking their losing streak against the Steelers a couple of weeks back, however, that game also ended in a tie and the Lions were subjected to two more humiliating defeats after that.

However, their 364-day losing streak finally came to an end in their last game against the Vikings. Although it wasn’t a one-sided encounter by any stretch as the Lions ended up winning by just a couple of points, it would be fair to say that the team should thank Jared Goff for finally giving them some reason to celebrate this season.

The game went right down to the wire and it could have gone either way in the final moments of the game. However, much to the delight of the Detroit fans, Jared showed great composure under pressure and ended up throwing the winning touchdown pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown which took his team over the line.

Apparently, Jared Goff’s girlfriend Christen Harper was in the mid of her shoot with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit when she got to know that the Lions have done it and it was none other than her boyfriend Jared Goff who proved to be the hero of the game.

“This is their first win, it is crazy,” Christen can be heard saying in the video clip shared by Sports Illustrated. In the video, Harper can be seen watching Goff throw the winning touchdown pass which allowed the Lions to win the contest by 29-27. “Oh my God, this is going to make me cry, that is the best” Harper further said in the clip.
