Jon Rahm hilariously shuts tweet rumors while rejecting any possible connection with LIV Golf

The multi-dollar event of LIV Golf is dealing with a lot of conjecture and controversies as of now and making it to headlines frequently. In such a scenario, there are speculations about golfers associated with it, but some have shied away from the format due to its controversial presence while others do not consider it traditional golf.

Well, we still are interested in the deets and so are all fans! Jon Rahm Rodriguez allegedly shut down a tweet that claimed to know about Jon’s participation in the LIV golf. The tweet said ‘My #LIVGolf source just confirmed with me Jon Rahm to LIV INV is indeed a GO.’

Even as this got the PGA Tour fans slightly riled up, Jon used his wit and humor to reply to the post himself saying the LIV Golf Insider just started their losing streak by posting a wrong piece of information.

Jon Rahm’s take on the LIV Golf

Jon Rahm has been associated with the PGA Tour for a while now. A lot of golf fans consider the PGA Tour and the LIV Golf poles apart given their varied formats. The PGA is more ritualistic in approach. LIV however follows a three-day shotgun format, with only 54 holes versus 72 in the traditional game.

When asked about Jon’s take on the LIV Golf format and why he isn’t willing to be a part of it, Jon replied, “To be honest, part of the format is not really appealing to me.”

I must inform you that you have started a losing streak because you and your source are wrong. I want to thank you for the lift in the PIP 😂 https://t.co/oaejFoXYrz

He also added,” Shotgun three days to me is not a golf tournament, no cut. It’s that simple. I want to play against the best in the world in a format that’s been going on for hundreds of years. That’s what I want to see.”

Rahm also mentioned that the LIV was the main genre of players like Rory Mcllroy and Tiger Woods. Jon Rahm is placed sixth on the golf world leaderboard as of now, but with his witty tweet this morning his ranking amongst the aficionados just went up!
